We can help at the planning stage
The core to any good storage advice is the filing survey which establishes a snapshot of the filing volume presently held on-floor and flags any filing/storage issues that might arise in the new location.
This data can then be weighted with both a targeted file reduction figure and one for future expansion to give a net volume that would need to be housed. Drilling down to department/user group level will show how many storage cabinets would be needed in each area.
During the planning stage, our clients often ask us for advice on different storage solutions as they know that Filing Relocation project managers all have strong backgrounds in the filing/storage industry. Being totally independent, we have no links to manufacturers so any advice given is always in generic terms and not linked to specific products or suppliers. You can rest assured that our advice is completely unbiased.
